B.Description:Di-PE 's purity's melting point 221-222.5^oC.Di-PEis slightly soluble in water,but little soluble in most organic solvent.It can react with organic material and turn into ester.Di-PE usually consists of a little mono-PE and Tri-PE.So its hydroxyl value is between 38-40.

B.Application:Di-PE,as an important fine-chemical intermediate,it is mainly used in coating industry,polyether,alkyd resin and photosensitive resin film.Its low aliphatic ester is used as PVC.plasticizer in hi-temp insulating material.Its high aliphatic ester is used in aviation.
